Day 2-5: Serengeti National Park Central Area (Seronera)

After breakfast at the Lodge, you’ll be driven to the central. The sheer volume of animals here is extraordinary. The Seronera River weaves its way through the Serengeti, providing waters for all species of wildlife. You will also see the distinctive rocky outcrops, the famous kopjes which characterize the Serengeti landscape. Kopjes are very hard and often granite. They have been aged at maybe 600 million years old and created even before the earth’s surface was pushed up from the ocean. Lions and other cats frequent these stony places and they are also home to snakes and hyraxes. Slowly weathering in wind and rain, they are peeling off in layers, which you may see on close inspection.

Every game drive here is a unique experience, which comes with a thrilling sense of adventure that never wanes, no matter how many times you go through it. Africa’s Big 5, wildebeests, zebras, antelopes, giraffes, cheetahs, hyenas, hippos, crocodiles, primates and over 500 species of birds , are only some of the amazing wildlife that you may see during each trip. And with our expert Guides accompanying you every step of the way, each game drive you take with us becomes a journey of discovery filled with exciting, life-altering moments. For unforgettable date, go for a bush dinner. Nothing can be more wildly romantic than sharing an exquisitely prepared intimate meal with your loved one.
