Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be greeted at the airport by your professional driver guide who will assist you with your scheduled flight to Murchison Falls National Park. Upon arrival you will be met by your driver guide and proceed to the lodge. Check in at Chobe lodge ; a unique blend of comfort, relaxation and adventure. Go for one-hour spa treatment for you to fully relax after your flight to Uganda or sip a cocktail in the water while overlooking the River Nile below at sunset.

Transfer To Lake Mburo Via Ziwa Rhinos Sanctuary
After a sumptuous breakfast, our driver guide will pick you up from your lodge at 8:00 am for a long to Lake Mburo en-route at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino tracking; here you will find both black and white rhinos. The sanctuary was set up in 2005 to breed and later introduce Rhinos to Uganda’s major game parks. After tracking, you will then head for lunch at Kabalega diner’s before proceeding with your journey to Lake Mburo National park. check in at Mihingo Lodge
Horse Riding & Walking Safari
After breakfast, you’ll head for horseback riding safari. Without the noise of an engine you can hear so much more and you really feel part of nature. Riding a horse means you often get the chance to see the shy animals. You do not have to be a very experienced rider to enjoy this amazing adventure; You will be assigned with well-trained guides as you venture out for your time in the rolling savannah of Lake Mburo National Park.
Watching animals from a horse is so peaceful and a totally different experience from being on a game drive; zebras come towards you to check out the strange relative without stripes. Even the eland that are usually very shy, look curiously at the horses without running away, but keep their distance. Return to the lodge for lunch and refreshment, later you will go for a sundowner boat ride close to the shores of Lake Mburo. Birders will be able to spot countless birds on the shores of the lake including the African fin foot, African grey hornbill, Brown Parrot, Common Scimitar bill, Crested Francolin, fish eagles, herons, Nubian Woodpecker, papyrus bush strike, pelicans, shoe bill stork, weaver birds, white winged warbler and Yellow breasted Apalis.
Transfer To Kibale National Park
Begin your morning with a leisurely breakfast before venturing toward the verdant expanse of Kibale Forest National Park the primate capital of the world. Arrive at Chimpundu Lodge in time for a curated lunch overlooking the forest canopy. Spend a restorative afternoon immersed in the lodge’s tranquil atmosphere; whether you are lounging by the pool or enjoying a quiet moment on your private deck, the sounds of the ancient jungle provide the perfect prelude to your chimpanzee encounter.
Chimpanzee Trekking
The amazing day is this; have breakfast early enough at 6am, leave the lodge for the park headquarters with enough bottled drinking water, where you will be briefed about chimpanzee trekking. After briefing, embark on trekking through the forest at around 8:00am guided by an armed park ranger. Nothing is as amazing as having time with the chimpanzees in their natural habitat.
You will also see other primates like golden monkeys, grey checked Mangabeys, LHoests monkeys, bush babies, among others; you will also spot a number of birds. After trekking, return and have lunch at the forest camp and go for a walk in the Bigodi wetland in the afternoon. You will meet different people that stay there also will see different birds like the Great Blue Turaco and more primates like the bush pigs, otters, baboons among others. Overnight and dinner at Chimpundu Lodge.
Transfer To Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Following a leisurely breakfast, begin a breathtaking ascent toward the ancient heights of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. The journey is a visual masterpiece, winding through Rwanda and Uganda’s iconic rolling hills and intricately terraced mountainsides. After a scenic lunch en route, you will reach the mist-shrouded gates of the forest. Your destination is the incomparable Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Camp the only luxury retreat located within the park itself. Spend the late afternoon unwinding in the quiet majesty of the jungle before a gourmet dinner served under the forest stars.
Mountain Gorilla Trekking
Awaken to the misty melodies of the forest with a 7:00 AM breakfast before departing for the park headquarters. Upon arrival, you will join an intimate briefing led by professional park rangers, setting the stage for the transformative journey ahead.At 8:00 AM, the adventure begins. Guided by expert trackers, you will plunge into the ancient, high-altitude rainforest in search of the legendary mountain gorillas. Depending on the movement of the gorilla families, the hike can range from 2 to 8 hours. Every step through the lush foliage brings you closer to one of nature’s most profound experiences.The moment you crest a ridge and find yourself in the presence of a gorilla family, time seems to stand still. You are granted one golden hour to observe these gentle giants in their natural habitat watching juveniles play, mothers groom their young, and the formidable Silverback oversee his troop.After descending from the forest, return to the sanctuary of your lodge. Spend the late afternoon unwinding with a chilled drink, sharing stories of your encounter, and soaking in the tranquil views of the mist-covered peaks.
What to wear and carry: Wear long trousers, long sleeve and hiking waterproof boats (to minimize the impact on wildlife, it is recommended to wear shades of green or brown). Carry garden gloves, a rain jacket, and a camera.

Getting there
All international flights only have safe landing at Entebbe International Airport which is the only international airport in the country. Direct flights are available from London by British Airways, Brussels by Brussels Airlines, Istanbul by Turkish Airlines, and Amsterdam by KLM Royal Dutch Airlines. There are direct flights from Doha by Qatar Airways, Dubai by Emirates Airlines. Inter-Africa airlines include; Ethiopian Airlines, South African Airways, Egypt Air, Air Tanzania, Air Uganda, Kenya Airways, Rwandair Express, Fly 540, and Precision Airlines.
Passport and Visas
To enter Uganda, a passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry is required by all nationalities. All persons intending to come to Uganda for holiday, tourism, business, study, visit, medical are required to apply and obtain a visa online. https://visas.immigration.go.ug/#/apply. You can also apply for an East African Tourist Visa. This is valid for 90 days and allows multiple entry into Kenya, Rwanda and Uganda. Please be aware that E-Visas are valid for 90 days after issuance. Therefore, do not apply for your E-Visa too far in advance.

Vaccinations

A yellow fever vaccination is currently required of ALL travellers in order to enter Uganda. The vaccine must be administered at least 10 days prior to your arrival, and you must carry an International Certificate of Vaccination provided by your physician; without it, you may be denied entry.
COVID-19 requirement
All travelers entering Uganda via Entebbe International Airport must provide printed, documented proof of a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test taken within 72 hours of boarding their flight to Uganda. Any person failing to present a negative COVID-19 PCR test result will not be allowed to enter the country. • All travelers must take an additional COVID-19 RT-PCR on arrival. The testing is performed at a facility near Entebbe International Airport and guests must wait (approximately 2-4 hours) for their result. If the result is negative, guests may continue with their scheduled journey.

Climate
It is sunny and green all year round with two distinct rainy seasons stretching from March to May and September to November. However, rain can occur at any time. The temperature average is 27C with the highest being 31C in the Karamoja and Kasese regions and the lowest being 15C in Kabale.
Money
American Express, Discover Cards and Mastercard’s are rarely accepted, except in few places. Visa Cards are readily accepted. Some large hotels, restaurants, travel agencies and shops in the urban areas accept credit cards. Traveler’s cheques are not widely accepted outside Kampala.
